Overview
Zane Tech Bits is a static website served as HTML, CSS, and images. There are no WordPress accounts, comment forms, or on-site logins in this Astro build.
Server and hosting logs
Whoever hosts the site (for example a CDN or static host) may record standard web server data such as IP address, requested URL, browser type, and timestamps in access logs. Check your host’s privacy notice for retention and use of those logs.
Local storage and preferences
This site may store small preferences in your browser:

These stay on your device and are not sent to a server by this site’s own code.
Fonts
Typography is loaded from the same origin (/fonts/) as self-hosted WOFF2 files. No third-party font tracking scripts are used in this build.
Embedded and external links
Articles link to Microsoft documentation and other external sites. If you follow those links, the destination site’s policies apply. Embedded images in articles are served from this site’s /media/ path unless an article explicitly links out.
Search
The on-site search page loads a public JSON index (/search-index.json) of published article titles and descriptions. Queries run in your browser; this build does not send search terms to a backend operated by the site.
Analytics and marketing
This preview build does not include analytics pixels, newsletter forms, or advertising trackers. If analytics are added before production, this page should be updated.
